Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger, born on February 22nd, 1983 was an American actor, comedian and executive producer. She was a finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing 2008 and has since hosted the syndicated dating program Excused as well as the TBS show Separation Anxiety.





 Shlesinger hosted Truth and Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late-night talkshow. There are six Netflix comedy specials. The sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show premiered on Netflix in April of 2020.



 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was the daughter of an Jewish family. Her birthplace was in the city of New York to an ethnically Jewish family. Her family moved to Dallas when she was a child. She was a student at Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. In the school she was studying Spanish and was a member of the school's improv team.





 Shlesinger performed with ComedySportz Dallas, and studied at the University of Kansas for her freshman year. She also participated in Semester at Sea. She was a student at Emerson College in Boston. She studied film and edited. She also became an actor in the comedy sketch group Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

 Shlesinger graduated from college and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was one of the most well-known members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
